Dr Meenakshi Jain is a board certified Ob/Gyn and is subspecialized in minimally invasive and Robotic surgery , She has successfully completed about 2700 Robotic surgeries in the last ten years and is a very busy solo gynecologist practicing in the St Petersburg area. She has lectured about the benefits of Robotic surgery all over the USA and abroad . She is a mentor and a proctor for the Epicenter at St Petersburg General Hospital , one of two Epicenters in Florida, where she teaches Robotics surgeons from all over the USA. She also is a mentor for "St Petersburg General hospital Surgical center of excellence program" She has been involved in starting many Gyn Robotic programs in India and has been a speaker in GOPIO, RCOG, Global health initiative conferences there. She did her Medical school training in India In MAMC New Delhi , and did her residency including Chief Residency in Rochester New york. She then worked as an Assistant clinical professor at Presbytarian st. lukes hospital in Chicago , She has been practicing in st petersburg florida from 1984.

She has special interest in management of Endometriosis, Interstitial Cystitis, Chronic pelvic pain , Urinary and Fecal incontinence and Pelvic Relaxation.

She also specializes in an innovative minimally invasive Axonics and Interstim Sacro-neuromodulation therapy for management of Urinary and Fecal Incontinence. These innovative Neuromodulation Pacemakers have given tremendous relief to many women by providing them with an excellent quality of life after they had been suffering with these socially disabling disorders for years. Dr Jain has been doing  webinars and she has lectured globally on this therapy.Her practice has been designated as the "Center of excellence for Axonics therapy".

She has been featured in many newspaper articles and also has been interviewed on many television channels. She has developed and published a unique technique " THE JAIN TECHNIQUE" of Robotic docking and instrument selection which has made her statistics of safety and of successful completion of minimally invasive surgery better than most published studies and thus reduced markedly the need for laparotomy. As a result of almost eliminating the need for laparotomy from her practice , most of her surgeries are outpatient and thus the risks associated with long hospitalization are eliminated.
